DUBAIAlike, the AI-powered unified social travel platform, has launched a new range of customisable digital tourist passes for travellers visiting Dubai, London, Paris and Singapore.

The initiative allows visitors to build their own city itineraries rather than purchasing pre-set bundles, creating a more flexible and tailored way to explore major global destinations. The passes also promise savings of up to 50% compared with buying individual attraction tickets, a factor designed to appeal to increasingly value-conscious international travellers.

Together, these four cities welcomed close to 80 million international visitors in 2024, underlining the scale of the market that Alike is targeting. The rollout represents the expansion of the company’s modular pass infrastructure across multiple tourism hubs, with the platform built to scale to additional cities with minimal operational friction.

Flexible itineraries

The launch follows the performance of The Abu Dhabi Pass, which was built and is operated by Alike for the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. That earlier project demonstrated the viability of a digital, modular approach to city experiences, paving the way for a broader international expansion. It also reflects the wider shift towards personalised travel products, a segment projected to grow from $170 billion in 2025 to more than $315 billion by 2029.

Instead of being tied to rigid packages, travellers using Alike’s new passes can choose only the attractions and experiences they want to visit. This structure eliminates unused entries that are common in traditional passes and allows clearer budgeting before a trip begins. The platform displays savings transparently, with users able to see how their selected itinerary compares with purchasing tickets separately.

Digital platform

All four city passes are powered by Infinity, Alike’s proprietary travel technology platform. Designed to reduce fragmentation across the travel journey, Infinity brings discovery, booking and on-site access into a single digital flow that works across devices. Once a traveller completes their selections, bookings are confirmed instantly, and digital QR codes are issued for entry at participating attractions.

The system also allows online management of timed access where applicable, removing the need for paper tickets and reducing queuing at venues. These features are aimed at increasing completion and usage rates, ensuring that travellers can make full use of what they have booked. A 24/7 customer support function is also available if assistance is required during a visit.

Beyond QR-based access, the passes are structured around a partner-led attraction ecosystem, enabling seamless entry across a growing network of participating venues in each city. This approach supports both travellers, who gain convenience and clarity, and attractions, which benefit from integrated digital distribution.

Global expansion

The global city pass market was valued at approximately $2.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach nearly $6.5 billion by 2033. Alike’s platform-led strategy positions it to compete in this fast-growing segment by offering a repeatable framework for launching new passes in different destinations.

The company plans to extend its tourist passes to more than 25 major destinations across Europe, Asia and North America by the end of 2026. This roadmap is supported by a unified technology infrastructure, a scalable launch model and increasing consumer demand for flexible, digital-first travel products.

Alike’s broader vision is to create a fully unified travel platform that combines AI intelligence with peer trust. Through its modular Infinity platform and its AI twin, Eia, the company is integrating inspiration, planning, booking, in-trip support and memory sharing into a single experience, with the new city passes forming a central part of that ecosystem as it expands into more global markets.
